The College of Computer Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) vision goes hand-in-hand with the overall vision of DAU. The College aspires to become one of the top computing colleges in Saudi Arabia through its well-established, technology-enabled, accredited degree programs, its state-of-the-art technological facilities and its learning atmosphere.

In our college we use technology to teach technology.

Every student in CEIT is a valuable asset.  We will ensure that you are always at the centre of the academic process. You will not only be part of teaching-learning activities, but you will also be a partner involved in faculty research-and-development programs.  We do not maintain two separate lines of research and teaching; rather, they are integrated into one.  Our research findings are woven into our curricula to give our students maximum exposure to research mechanisms in which they have full participation.

We are proud of our degree programs.  Many thanks are due to our colleagues at KFUPM who have helped us to bring about the reality of our world-class bachelor's degree programs. These programs are already accredited by the Saudi MoHE and are ready for ABET.

Our facilities are state-of-the-art.  You can walk around with a PDA or any mobile device and enjoy full connectivity while benefiting from the wide range of services and systems that are in place.  DAU has invested significant resources to build student information networks, learning-management systems and many other integrated services for the comfort of all and to ensure the high quality of our educational offerings.  You will be able to view assignments, course materials and grades, not to mention participate in learning activities straight from your preferred computing device such as mobile phone, PDA, iPhone or laptop.
